ကြေညာချက် (၈/၂၀၂၁)

1. The Law Amending the Gambling Law (First Amendment) was enacted by the Pyidaungsu Hluttaw as Pyidaungsu Hluttaw Law No. (5) on August, 6, 2021.

2. In the Section 2 (j) of the Law, it is explicitly stipulated that:

“ထီ ဆိုသည်မှာ အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ၊ စီမံကိန်း၊ ဘဏ္ဍာရေးနှင့် ရင်းနှီးမြုပ်နှံမှုဝန်ကြီးဌာန ပြည်တွင်းအခွန်များဦးစီးဌာနက ကြီးမှူးဖွင့်လှစ်သော “အောင်လံလွှင့်ချီ နွေဦးထီ” ကို ဆိုသည်။” ဟု အတိအလင်းပြင်ဆင် ပြဌာန်းထားပြီးဖြစ်သည်။Lottery means the “Aung-lan Hlwint Chi, Nway Oo Hti “ထီ ဆိုသည်မှာ အမျိုးသားညီညွတ်ရေးအစိုးရ၊ စီမံကိန်း၊ ဘဏ္ဍာရေးနှင့် ရင်းနှီးမြုပ်နှံမှုဝန်ကြီးဌာန ပြည်တွင်းအခွန်များဦးစီးဌာနက ကြီးမှူးဖွင့်လှစ်သော “အောင်လံလွှင့်ချီ နွေဦးထီ” ကို ဆိုသည်။” ဟု အတိအလင်းပြင်ဆင် ပြဌာန်းထားပြီးဖြစ်သည်။

3. Therefore, the Ministry of Planning, Finance and Investment hereby warns the wholesale lottery entrepreneurs to refrain from engaging in selling, buying and distributing the Aungbalay lottery tickets which is an illegal gambling activity run by the terrorist military council.

4. The Ministry also announces that all legal measures shall be taken against those who violate such warning or prohibition in accord with the existing law by coordinating with the Ministry of Home Affairs and Immigration of the National Unity Government.
